Project Assistants in Cellular Reprogramming and Immune Dysfunction
Lund University was founded in 1666 and is consistently ranked as one of the world's leading universities. There are about 47,000 students and more than 8,800 employees in Lund, Helsingborg, and Malmö. We are united in our effort to understand, explain, and improve our world and the conditions of humanity.

Workplace Description
The cellular reprogramming group in hematopoiesis and immunity studies how hematopoietic cells are specified, maintained, and ultimately modified or reversed.
Inspired by stem cell biology, immunology, and cancer research, we use an interdisciplinary approach to mechanistically understand hematopoietic and immune cell identities and translate our findings into new gene and cell therapies. Our group is now recruiting two full-time project assistants who will work on using cellular reprogramming as an approach to study immune dysfunction.
We Offer
We are a diverse group of molecular biologists, medical doctors, pharmacy doctors, tumor immunologists, stem cell biologists, and computational scientists - at all career stages. At the Pereira laboratory, we see science as an opportunity to have fun while exploring the unknown, while also making unique contributions to society. Our interdisciplinary approach draws inspiration from the fields of immunology, developmental biology, stem cells, cancer biology, and bioinformatics, leading to new discoveries. This requires diversity and teamwork both within the lab and with our global academic and industrial partners. We view collaboration and communication as the formula for great science and success, both as a team and as individuals. The Pereira laboratory offers an environment where creative and highly motivated minds can thrive.
